چکیده

Struvite and hydroxyapatite are byproducts of phosphorus removal from wastewater that can be used as phosphate fertilizers. Due to their low water solubility, especially in alkaline soils, use is currently limited. The phosphate-solubilizing bacteria enhance the dissolution struvite could an attractive solution for expanding use, but literature reports on this In study, Arthrobacter sp. (TBRC 5201), Azotobacter vinelandii 7231), Bacillus megaterium 1396) were evaluated ability dissolve agar media with or sole source phosphorus. Only B. was able growth. After 14 d incubation liquid medium, dissolved up 835.45 ± 11.76 mg P/l compared 196.08 3.92 a control without cells, whereas by minimal. also capable dissolving swine wastewater-derived struvite. Both free cells alginate-encapsulated rapidly struvite, resulting soluble concentrations reached 400 within 2 days, those required 12 days. conclusion, application promising tool green sustainable agriculture.
